My story

From a $30 gig to a content agency working with the biggest brands in Sweden

In 2017, at 19, I left my small town in Sweden and moved to a bigger city to study International Economics. I left behind my friends and football, the sport that had shaped my entire life up to that point. Almost overnight, the passion that had defined me was gone, and for the first time I had no idea what I actually wanted to do.

Then, almost by accident, I picked up my dad's old camera, the same one he'd brought to every one of my football matches, and started messing around. I filmed everything, mostly my friends, and realized fast how much I loved it. Soon after, my older brother handed me something that changed everything: a drone. I remember thinking, “Okay, now I actually have to make something of this.”

From that day on, every spare minute outside of school went into shooting, filming, editing, and learning. I lived on YouTube tutorials, trying to be a little better than I was the day before.

One summer, my friend Mark asked if I could shoot some content for the bar he worked at. I said yes, and I got paid. Thirty dollars. It wasn't much, but to me it was proof: I could create something other people actually valued. A hobby could become something more. Crazy, right? That's exactly what I thought. That was the moment I knew this could be my future.

Out of that passion, Laif Agency was born, a content agency built on creativity, commitment, and a real drive to help businesses grow online through content that works. From one camera, a drone, and a dream, we've grown into a team of driven creators. Today we work with some of the biggest brands in Sweden, helping them get seen, get heard, and grow.
